This policy explains what personal data PNN Law Chamber receives through this website, why, and what you can ask the chamber to do with it. It is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
What the chamber receives
Only what you choose to send. If you use the contact form, that is your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of matter and your message. If you write, call or send a WhatsApp message, the chamber receives whatever you include in it.
Please do not send confidential documents until the chamber has confirmed it can act for you.
Why it is used
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if the chamber agrees to act for you, to handle your matter. Your details are not sold, not shared for marketing, and not added to any mailing list.
Who else handles it
The website and the chamber’s email are run by hosting providers, who process your message only so that it can be delivered and stored. If you choose to write on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms apply.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. It remembers that you accepted the disclaimer only for your current browser session; that note is cleared when you close the browser tab.
The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. The Contact page also shows a map from Google Maps: when that page loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies. The “Open in Google Maps” links take you to Google Maps, where Google’s privacy policy applies.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to the chamber acting for you are deleted within 12 months. Records of matters the chamber handles are kept for as long as professional and legal duties require.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data the chamber holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to withdraw your consent to its use. Write to info@pnnlawchamber.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
